11KM - TEAM HOT LAP
NEW FOR 2027
You, your mates, and the clock
In car racing, a Hot Lap is meant to be flat and fast. But at Blazing Hills, well, nothing’s really that flat… And the speed? Is up to the whole team.
Grab your crew together and take on our brand new 11km Team Hot Lap. Same quad-burning loop as The Blaze, tackled by a crew of three.
The Hot Lap sends teams of three, one runner at a time.
How it works
Teams of 3.
Each runner completes the full 11km Blaze loop, solo.
Staggered starts: runner one starts with the main 11km field, runner two starts 20 minutes later, runner three starts a further 20 minutes after that.
Team result = combined total time of all three runners on course.
No baton and no standing round waiting at a changeover.
Expect the same undulating climbs, rewarding views and quad-burning hill that make The Blaze such a classic. It's proper Blazing Hills terrain, real, rural, and worth every step.
Dress-ups and team spirit is strongly encouraged.
Elevation gain: 408m (431m–785m) Aid stations: 2km, 4.1km, 6.8km and finish line
